This job aid explains how to connect a non-PATH computer or mobile device to our publicly-accessible guest network, *path25.  This connection will only provide Internet access and not access to internal resources such as file-shares, network printers or PATHnet.  Users of the guest network are responsible for making sure their firewall and anti-virus software are in good working order and up to date.

Accessing the Wireless Guest Network Using Windows 7

Connecting to the *path25 network simply requires selecting it from the list of available wireless networks, as shown below.  There is no password required to join the network.

Accessing the Wireless Guest Network Using Windows 8

In Windows 8, go to your list of available wireless networks, by swiping in from the right or using the Windows key + C, going to settings and then selecting the wireless networks.

While connected to the *path25 guest network, you will not have access to shared drives, printers, or PATHnet. You will only have access to the internet.
