Step-by-step guide
Click the Start Button then click Settings.
In Settings click System
In the list of System options, click Default apps, then click whatever is set as the Photo viewer.
Now select the desired photo viewer, such as Windows Photo Viewer.
After selecting your picture new default picture viewer and exiting settings, double-clicking an image file will open it in your selected viewer.
