Share one-time secrets securely

Share one-time secret information, such as a license key or a passcode, securely with anyone using Privnote.com. Privnote is a free service that lets you easily secure and share information using a weblink.  Once viewed, the secret information is automatically destroyed. This is particularly useful for sharing temporary passwords after assisting in a reset.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to https://privnote.com
  2. Type the secret information into the box.

  3. Click the "Create Note" button to encrypt. After a few seconds, a link will be generated.

  4. Click the Select Link button, then CTRL-C to copy the link to your computer's clipboard.
  5. Share this link with the receiver. You can safely email or text this link.  
  6. Once the receiver gets your link, clicking on it will reveal the original message, at which point they can copy it to their clipboard and the message will be destroyed.
