Finding your computer name in Windows 7
- Go to Start → Computer
- In the window showing all your drives, you will see your computer name in the bottom left corner of the window, as shown below.

- Open the charms bar by pressing the Windows Key + C and click or tap Settings.
- In Control Panel click System.
- In System, you'll find the computer name in the third section, Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings
